Boxing Combo for Ruthless Right Hooks – 1432

I will be teaching right hooks using the 1432 boxing combination.

The right hook is an underrated boxing punch that has a lot of potential and power but it is quite difficult to execute. Therefore it is a punch that should not be excluded from your training – it may not work for some people as everyone has their signature punches but I still encourage drilling and practicing it.

Right hooks are much like throwing the straight punch in boxing except you are forming a hook with your arm by adding a slight bend. The way you shift your body weight is the same, so there is a lot of similarity between the 1232 boxing combo previously explained and the 1432. Remember to open the elbow angle so that your hooks can reach your opponent. Do not throw short boxing punches.
